This kitchen remodel for was one of the final pieces of a whole house remodel to a typical 1960's colonial. The space was confined in the center of the house with no windows, so light was a concern.
MaryBeth Wilson,CKD, made sure that the details in this kitchen made it unique. Her customer selected linen cabinets with the cottage doorstyle in a beaded inset. "The carved fronts of the drawers mimic a stained glass window that the homeowner has upstairs. The shelf edge detail adds flair without being too busy." said Wilson. "The brackets under the wall cabinets and the furniture base all add style and grace. The hutch-like piece not only looks pretty, it also offers a great deal of storage. The pantry cabinet opens both from the front and sides so we could have a place to hide the broom and also have a shallow storage in front. We really took advantage of every inch in this space!"
