Caring For Your Cabinetry
The proper care of your fine wood work is a very simple and carefree process. The coatings are of the finest quality and durability and require very simple care methods.

Conversion varnish is the most commonly used finish in the high end furniture and custom cabinet market. When properly applied and cared for the beauty of your cabinetries finish will be enjoyed for many generations. Conversion Varnish has excellent resistance to food, beverages, and common household chemicals. However, to maintain the beautiful appearance a few guidelines must be followed:

To clean any surface you need only to use a damp, soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Wipe the surface gently and when finished cleaning wipe dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using cleaners with ammonia, bleaches and abrasives. If you wish to polish your cabinets, use a high quality non-wax furniture polish.
  • Do not place damp newsprint or plastic bags on the surface as inks and dye may penetrate the finish when moist
  • Limit exposure to direct sunlight as much as possible
  • Avoid excessive waxing as built up wax can cause the moisture from a beverage can or glass to leave a milky white ring on the surface of the wood

We provide you with a touch up kit for any future scratches or nicks. We also give you a bottle of polish to help you keep your cabinets looking their best. If you have any questions about the cabinetry finish care please refer all questions to Alvin at 800-478-9488 Ext 3003.
